2100New Delhi (17.06.2022): Presidential elections are scheduled for July 18, 2022, with the last date for nomination as June 29, so the Election Commission of India has appointed former CBDT Chairman and the incumbent Rajya Sabha Secretary-General Pramod Chandra Mody as the Returning officer for the Presidential Election, 2022. Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Mukul Pandey and Joint Secretary & Chief Vigilance Officer Rajya Sabha Secretariat Surendra Kumar Tripathi have been appointed as the Assistant Returning Officers.
