The ACC cleared the appointment of Dr V K Jain to the post of Director, University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy-Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE-CBS), for a period of five years. He is Retired Distinguished Scientist, BARC, Mumbai & Raja Ramanna Fellow.
