DoPT asks officers to write about their 'Anubhav' on retirement

The Ministry of Personnel issued a circular dated November 5, 2015, asking all ministries and departments to direct all retiring officers, including those belonging to Central Secretariat Service (CSS) and Central Secretariat Stenographers Services (CSSS), to leave a written account of their achievements. This could work as a valuable data base for improving the system of governance, according to Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh. He said all officers retiring within six months have been also advised to list out any outstanding work done by them or innovation that contributed to efficient functioning of the government under what is termed as the "Anubhav" initiative.
