New Delhi (14.12.2024): Prime Minister Narendra Modi ischairing the fourth national conference of chief secretaries being held in new Delhi on December 14-15, 2024 to prepare a common development agenda and a blueprint for a cohesive action in partnership with the states.
The theme of the conference is -- Promoting Entrepreneurship, Employment and Skilling -- Leveraging the Demographic Dividend. Special Session will be held on frontier technology for Viksit Bharat, developing cities as economic hubs, economic reforms in states for investment and growth and capacity building through Mission Karmyogi.
"The conference of Chief Secretaries is driven by vision of the Prime Minister to strengthen cooperative federalism and ensure better coordination between centre and states to achieve faster growth and development," the government said in a statement.
Deliberation would be held on Atmanirbhata in agriculture: edible oils and pulses, care economy for the ageing population, PM Surya Ghar, Muft Bijli Yojna Implementation and Bhartiya Gyan Parampara. Chief Secretaries, senior officials of all states and domain experts will be present at the conference.
