New Delhi (23.06.2023): In view of the recent tragic train accident at Balasore in Odisha in which around 300 people were killed, the Centre has appointed K R Chaudhary, NF-HAG/IRSE: 1994, presently working as Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board, Ajmer to South Eastern railway as DRM, Kharagpur. The CBI inquiry has already been instituted to look into the causes of accidence and Junior Engineer, Signal Amir Khan was quizzed by the CBI. Balasore comes under the jurisdiction of DRM, Kharagpur. Chaudhary will replace Mohd Shujat Hashmi (IRSE) as DRM, Kharagpur.
