New Delhi (01.11.2022): As part of the Special Campaign 2.0 for Swachhta in Government offices, Chairman, Central Board for Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Vivek Johri launched e-Waste Disposal Campaign at DGGI.

The Special Campaign 2.0 for “Swachhta” (Cleanliness) was organized from October 2, 2022 to October 31, 2022 in the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) and all its Zonal and Regional Units spread across the country.

Under the e-waste disposal drive, e-waste which included printers, computers, scanners and their parts were identified and collected to be disposed of as per the prevailing guidelines. Chairman CBIC handed over e-waste to the designated agency for disposal in compliance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016.
