New Delhi (06.11.2022): Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) gets fifteen new Administrative Members which include ten from IAS, two each from IRS Income Tax and Railways, and one from IPS. The term of the newly appointed members will be for a period of four years or till 67 years of age. The list of new members goes as follows;
- Dr Sumeet Jerath (IAS:1985:AM), retired as Union Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in August 2021
- Chhabilendra Roul (IAS:1985:PB) retired in December 2020 as Union Secretary, Department of Fertilizers
- Mohan Pyare (IAS:1985:TN), retired in September 2029 while serving in the cadre state of Tamil Nadu
- Anindo Majumdar (IAS:1985:AGMUT), retired as Secretary, CVC in August 2020
- Dr Sanjiv Kumar (IAS:1986:KN) retired in September 2021
- Sanjeeva Kumar (IAS:1986:AM) formerly Union Secretary, Border Management (MHA)
- Pramod Kumar Das (IAS:1986:MP), retired as Union Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs secretary June last year
- Rameshwar Prasad Gupta (IAS:1987:GJ), retired in December 2021 as Union Secretary, Ministry of Environment Forests and Climate Change
- B Anand (IAS:1987:TN), retired in August 2022 as Union Secretary Ex-Servicemen Welfare (Ministry of Defence)
- Arun Kumar (IAS:1989:HY), the incumbent DG of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) scheduled to retire in February 2023
- Kumar Rajesh Chandra (IPS:1985:BH), formerly DG, BCAS and DG Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
- Rashmi Saxena Sahni (IRS IT:1984), retired recently (Sept. 30) as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemption)
- Sri Krishna (IRS IT:1986), Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax
- Dr Anand Singh Khati (IRPS:1984) formerly, DG (HR) Railway Board
- Suchitto Kumar Das (IRTS:1985) previously worked as AGM, Eastern Railways.
