The project aims to significantly boost sports infrastructure in eastern Uttar Pradesh and support the development of cricket and other sporting activities in the region.

The stadium will be developed across 108 acres in Gorakhpur and is planned as a modern international-standard venue with a seating capacity of 30,000 spectators, international-standard cricket ground and facilities. Supporting sports infrastructure and training amenities and community-focused development aimed at nurturing sporting talent.

The project will be implemented jointly by BPCL, the Uttar Pradesh government and UP Sports College, reflecting a multi-stakeholder approach to infrastructure development.

The initiative highlights BPCL’s commitment to community development and sports promotion, while aligning with the state government’s vision to expand world-class sporting facilities across Uttar Pradesh.
