Patna (31.12.2021): The Bihar government has enacted a major bureaucratic reshuffle of IAS officers besides appointing a new Chief Secretary. These officers included:
- Chaitanya Prashad (IAS: 1990: BR) Additional Chief Secretary, Home will also look after additional charge of Vigilance Department, Patna
- Chanchal Kumar (IAS: 1992: BR) has been given additional charge of Director General, Bihar Public Administration and Rural Development Institution, Patna.
- Sandeep Poundrik (IAS: 1993: BR) has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Patna with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Planning and Development, Project Director Disaster Rehabilitation and Rebuilding.
- Sanjay Kumar Agrawal (IAS: 2002: BR) has been appointed Secretary, Water Resources Department with additional charge of Disaster rehabilitation, Transport Department and Vigilance Commissioner, General Administration.
- Kumar Ravi (IAS: 2005: BR) has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Patna Circle.
- Dayanidhan Pandey (IAS: 2005: BR) has been appointed as secretary Social Welfare Department with additional charge of Director Social Security, Social Welfare Department.
- Sandeep Kumar R Pudakalkatti (IAS: 2005: BR) has been appointed Secretary, Labour Department with additional charge of Managing Director of Bihar State Highways Development Corporation.
- Dharmendra Singh (IAS: 2005: BR) has been appointed Secretary in the Finance Department, Patna.
- Abhishek Singh (IAS: 2005: BR) has been appointed as Managing Director, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.
- Gorakhnath (IAS: 2005: BR) has been appointed as Secretary, Health Department, Patna.
- Animesh Kumar Parashar (IAS: 2010: BR) has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Additional Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Patna.
- Rajiv Roshan (IAS: 2010: BR) has been appointed District Collector and Magistrate, Darbhanga.
- Mahendra Kumar (IAS: 2011: BR) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, General Administration, Patna, Bihar.
- Tyagarajan S M (IAS: 2011: BR) has been appointed District Collector and Magistrate, Gaya.
- Mithilesh Mishra (IAS: 2011: BR) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Finance Department with his previous additional responsibilities.
