BHEL: orders for Dir (Fin) & Dir (ER&D) are awaited since June 01 & July 01

The visible pattern of scrapping of PESB recommendations (approx 15 panel scrapped as yet) by Modi Government has triggered the murmuring over the appointment orders for two directorial positions in BHEL.
Post of Director (Finance) is running vacant since June 01 vice P K Bajpai whereas the post of Director (ER&D) is running vacant since July 01 vice T Veeraraghawan. Selection and recommendation to ACC against the two vacancies had initiated months back but orders are yet awaited.
Subject to the ACC ratification and requisite clearances S K Sahni (GM, BHEL) was expected to take over as Director (Finance) on June 01 whereas Subrat Biswas (GM, BHEL) was expected to take over as Director (Engineering Research & Development) on July 01, 2015.
The delay in appointments has raised the curiosity bars across PSUs as what would be the fate of these two crucially important positions. Keep watching.
