After Ajay Mathur took over as Director General of TERI to steer the organisation out of the crisis following the charges of sexual harassment against R K Pachauri, his former organisation, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), is facing a leadership crisis. BEE has been headless ever since Mathur moved out in February. It is only now that an advertisement has been put out, inviting applications for that post. It seems the process for filling up the post was initiated only after it was realised that the second highest post in the organisation, that of Secretary, was also falling vacant soon. An advertisement for the post of Secretary has been issued about 10 days ago.
