The NaMo administration cleared the appointment of two new members of
Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). Gulab Singh Narwal (Chief Engineer, BBMB) appointed to the post of
Member (Irrigation) for a period of three years and Harminder Singh (Chief Engineer, BBMB) appointed to the post of Member
(Power), BBMB for a period ending 31 October 2022. He will be serving on the
Board (BBMB) on deputation basis till the age of his superannuation (31.10.2020)
in his parent Department in the Government of Punjab and later on (after
retirement) he will serve as Member (BBMB) on re-employment on contract basis
till 31 October 2022.
