Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that L K Atheek (IAS:1991:KN) may shortly be appointed as Principal Secretary to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Currently he is serving in the state as Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (DPAR). He has recently (Jan 2016) repatriated from a posting in Washington DC where he served as Senior Adviser to Executive Director, World Bank. Prior to his WDC posting he served as Jt Secretary, PMO under the then Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
