Additional chief secretary Jishnu Barua (IAS:1988:AM) is all set to become the next Chief Secretary of Assam. He may have a tenure as CS till 30 September 2022. Barua will take over the charge from Kumar Sanjay Krishna, (IAS:1985:AM); the outgoing Chief Secretary, retiring on 31 October 2020.
