New Delhi (23.06.2022): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Thursday are as follows:-
  • The central deputation tenure of Amit Kataria (lAS:2004:CG), Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development, was extended for a period of two years beyond 02.07.2022.
  • The service tenure of Dr Randeep Guleria (Director, AIIMS, New Delhi) was extended for a period of three months w.e.f. 25.06.2022. Following the completion of five years term, Dr Guleria was given the first extension for a period of three years w.e.f. 25.03.2022. He was appointed to the coveted post on 28.03.2017. It may be underlined that the process for the selection and appointment of Dr Guleria's successor is underway. 
  • Mahesh Chandran R, OSD to MoS for External Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs (V Muraleedharan) in the Ministry of External Affairs, was prematurely repatriated on personal grounds with the provision of "extended cooling off'.
  • Amit Kumar Singhal (IRS C&CE:2007), Director, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. 
  • Former Punjab DGP Dinkar Gupta (IPS:1987:PB) was appointed as Director-General in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) till his retirement i.e. 31.03.2024. 
  • Swagat Das (IPS:1987:CG) was appointed as Special Secretary (Internal Security) in the Ministry of Home Affairs for a period of 30.11.2024 i.e. up to his superannuation. Presently, Das is working as Special Director in Intelligence Bureau. He replaces VSK Kaumudi (IPS:1986:AP). 
  • Manish Tiwari (IRTS:1995) was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. He is Joint Secretary, MHA.
  • The additional charge of the post of Chairperson (JS level) of Mormugao Port Trust to VR Akkaraju for a period of six months w.e.f. 03.06.2022 or till the appointment of a new incumbent. Presently, Akkaraju is Chairman, New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT), Mangalore, Karnataka.
  • The Central Deputation tenure of Ms Nigar Fatima Hussain (IDES:1996) was extended for a period of three months beyond 02.07.2022. Presently, she is Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
