- Ravi Kanta (IPS: 1998: OD) has been appointed as Inspector General in Border Security Force (BSF) for a period of five years.
- Mitrabhanu Mahapatra (IPS: 2010: OD) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General in Border Security Force (BSF) for a period of five years.
