Appointment of Director ED; FM asks Cabinet Sectt for panel

The appointment process of new Director of ED seems be have started. It is reliably learnt that Finance Minister has asked the Cabinet Secretary to send a panel for Director, Enforcement Directorate. At present Rajan S Katoch (IAS:1979:MP) is carrying out the additional charge of Director, ED in addition to his full-fleged responsibility as Secretary, Department of Heavy Industries.
In the month of May this year Anjuli Chib Duggal (IAS:1981:PB) was appointed as Director, ED but later the government decided to keep that appointment in abeyance.
