Raipur (12.01.2026): The Chhattisgarh government has
appointed former Chief Secretary of the state Amitabh Jain (Retd IAS: 1989:
CG) as the new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC). Additionally,
two Information Commissioners have also been appointed that included Umesh
Agarwal (Retd IAS:2004:CG) and journalist Shirish Mishra.
