Known for his literary pursuits Abhay K, a 2003 batch IFS officer, is all set to move from Kathmandu to London. Presently posted in Kathmandu as India's First Secretary in Indian Embassy, Abhay would start his new stint in London as Director of the Nehru Centre. During Modi's visit to Kathmandu (for SAARC Summit) it was being speculated that his poem might be adopted as the official song of SAARC.
He penned an 'Earth Anthem' which underlines the importance of people to people cooperation between the two South Asian neighbours for a better world. The officer dreams that his 'Earth Anthem' would inspire the UNESCO and UN to come up with an official anthem for our home planet earth.
