A day ahead of taking the oath, on December 26, Himachal Pradesh CM-designate Jai Ram Thakur has made the first appointment for his office. He has picked up Vinay Singh, a 2001 batch officer of HP Administrative Service, as his Private Secretary.
Singh had earlier served as Secretary Transport and also held the additional charge of Managing Director at Himachal Pradesh Milk Federation Ltd.
