Lucknow (31.03.2022): The UP government on Thursday suspended Sonbhadra DM T K Shibu on the charges of irregularity in mining and dereliction of duty during assembly elections. The district administration could not seal the postal ballot papers properly during the assembly poll and this news was widely circulated in the media. The Commissioner had to intervene in this matter to sort out the issue. T K Shibu has been found guilty in this incident. The Commissioner of Varanasi Division has been authorized to conduct an investigation against T K Shibu, and the suspended IAS officer has been attached to the Revenue department in Lucknow and he had been directed not to leave the headquarters without written permission.
