Patna (01.04.2022): A role reversal is likely very soon in Bihar with the BJP taking over the lead role and Janata Dal (United) as the junior partner. There are several indications of not only smooth transition but two names have also been pinned down. Nitish Kumar was in Lucknow to attend the swearing-in of Yogi Adityanath and informally expressed his wish to be part of the Rajya Sabha which he has never been. There are many other reasons. So either he will go to Rajya Sabha to join the Union cabinet or preside over the functioning of Rajya Sabha as its Chairman. This could be the best retirement plan. The question is who will replace him in Bihar. The answer is that Janak Ram is the most favoured but a section in the BJP is trying for Nityanand Rai. Recently BJP legislative party meeting was held at the residence of Janak Ram.
