UP: Government reshuffls 21 IAS officers including 9 DMs

Lucknow (08.06.2022): The Uttar Pradesh government has enacted a major reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers including nine new district magistrates. They are:
  1. Krishna Karunesh (IAS: 2011: UP) has been appointed as the district magistrate of Gorakhpur.
  2. Vijay Kiran Anand (IAS: 2009: UP) has been appointed as Director General in-charge of School Education with additional charge Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj.
  3. Anamika Singh (IAS: 2004: UP) has been appointed as Secretary Women Welfare.
  4. Suryapal Gangwar (IAS: 2009: UP) has been transferred to Lucknow as District Magistrate.
  5. Abhishek Prakash (IAS: 2009: UP) has been posted as Secretary, Industrial Department.
  6. Visakh G Iyer (IAS: 2011: UP) has been sent to Kanpur Nagar as District Magistrate.
  7. Bhawani Singh (IAS: 2011: UP) has been appointed as MD Madhyanchal Power Development Corporation.
  8. Anupam Shukla (IAS: 2016: UP) has been appointed as Special Secretary, Energy.
  9. Seelam Sai (IAS: 2018: UP) has been appointed as CDO, Jaunpur.
  10. Selva Kumari J (IAS: 2006: UP) has been made commissioner of Bareilly division,
  11. Saumya Agrawal (IAS: 2008: UP) has been sent to Ballia as District Magistrate.
  12. Inder Vikram Singh (IAS: 2010: UP) has been shifted to Aligarh as District Magistrate.
  13. M Priyanka Niranjan (IAS: 2013: UP) has been sent to Basti as District Magistrate.
  14. Chandni Singh (IAS: 2013: UP) has been appointed as District Magistrate of Jalaun.
  15. Avinash Kumar (IAS: 2013: UP) has been appointed as District Magistrate Etawah.
  16. Shruti Singh (IAS: 2006: UP) has been appointed as Secretary, Health
  17. Ravi Ranjan (IAS: 2014: UP) has been appointed as District Magistrate of Firozabad.
  18. Neha Sharma (IAS: 2010: UP) has been posted as Director, Local Bodies.
  19. Shakuntala Gautam (IAS: 2006: UP) has been appointed as Labour Commissioner, Kanpur.
  20. R Ramesh Kumar (IAS: 1995: UP) has been appointed as Secretary, Silk
  21. Rakesh Kumar Singh II (IAS: 2006: UP), Ghaziabad district magistrate, has been given the additional charge of GDA.
