Shekhar Vidyarthi (IAS:2004:HY) was on Tuesday posted as Member Secretary, Haryana Backward Classes Commission whereas Geeta Bharti (IAS:HY:2006) was posted as Special Secretary, Welfare of Schedule Castes and Backward Classes Department. Both the posts were lying vacant. Reportedly, both officers will continue to hold their current responsibilities.
Currently, Shekhar Vidyarthi serves as Director and Special Secretary, Environment Department; Chief Executive, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board and MD, HAFED whereas Ms Bharti serves as Director, Welfare of Schedule Castes and Backward Classes, Haryana; MD, Haryana Scheduled Castes Development Corporation and MD, Haryana Backward Classes & Economically Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam Ltd.
