New Delhi (26.05.2025): The Union Home Ministry on Monday posted Rajesh Khurana (IPS: 1994: AGMUT) to the Delhi segment of the Joint AGMUT cadre. Khurana completed his stint with Central Deputation in CRPF (CoBRA sector) in the third week of March where he handled operations against Naxalite violence in states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand.
Since March 27, 2025 he awaited the posting order. Having posted to the Delhi segment of AGMUT Cadre he may shortly be given a key assignment in Delhi Police. He has a residual service till September 2029.
Prior to joining CRPF, Khurana served in Delhi Police and handled complex law and order situations as Special CP Central Zone and also worked as Special CP Intelligence.
It may be underlined that Delhi CP Sanjay Arora (IPS: 1988: AGMUT) is scheduled to retire on July 31, 2025 paving way for a reshuffle at senior positions in Delhi Police.
