Punjab: First major bureaucratic reshuffle by new Govt

Chandigarh (01.04.2022): In the first bureaucratic reshuffle in Punjab by the AAP government, twelve IAS including five Deputy Commissioners and 13 IPS have been transferred with immediate effect. They included:

  • Harish Nayar (IAS: 2010: PB) has been appointed as DC Barnala.
  • Kulwant Singh (IAS: 2012: PB) has been appointed as DC Moga.
  • Showkat Ahmad Parray (IAS: 2013: PB) has been appointed as DC Bathinda.
  • Jitendra Jorwal (IAS: 2014: PB) has been appointed as DC Sangrur
  • Jaspreet Singh (IAS: 2014: PB) has been appointed as DC Mansa.
  • Himanshu Jain (IAS: 2020: PB) has been appointed as additional secretary to Punjab CM.
  • Mohinder Pal (IAS: 2008: PB) has been appointed as Special Secretary-Home Affairs and Justice.
  • Ramvir (IAS: 2009: PB) has been appointed as Director General Employment Generations besides Mission Director Skill Development.
  • Kumar Amit (IAS: 2010: PB) has been appointed as Special Secretary Personnel and MD- Punjab Small Industries Export Corporation.
  • Vineet Kumar (IAS: 2012: PB) has been appointed as Special Secretary Agriculture and MD Punjab State Warehousing Corporation.
  • Kumar Saurabh Raj (IAS: 2011: PB) has been appointed as Director – Technical Education and Industrial Training.
  • Dalwinderjit Singh has been appointed as Joint Secretary Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board.
  • Harjeet Singh (IPS: 2010: PB) has been appointed as SSP Gurdaspur.
  • Dhruman H. Nimbale (IPS: 2010: PB) has been appointed as SSP Hoshiarpur.
  • Alka Meena (IPS: 2010: PB) has been appointed as SSP Malerkotla.
  • Vivek Sheel Soni (IPS: 2011: PB) has been appointed as SSP Mohali.
  • Nanak Singh (IPS: 2011: PB) has been appointed as SSP Patiala.
  • Sandeep Garg (IPS: 2012: PB) has been appointed as SSP Ropar.
  • Gulneet Singh Khurana (IPS: 2012: PB) has been appointed as SSP Moga.
  • Charanjit Singh (IPS: 2013: PB) has been appointed as SSP Ferozepore.
  • Sandeep Kumar Malik (IPS: 2013: PB) has been appointed as SSP Barnala.
  • Ravjot Grewal (IPS: 2015: PB) has been appointed as SSP Fatehgarh Sahib.
  • Sartaj Singh Chahal (IPS: 2015: PB) has been appointed as SSP Hoshiarpur.
  • Mandeep Singh Sidhu has been appointed as SSP Sangrur.
  • Ranjit Singh Dhillon has been appointed as SSP Tarn Taran.
