It is reliably learnt that The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has rejected PESB's recommendation for the post of CMD, Andrew Yule & Company (AYCL). PESB had selected Rahul Bali on 19 February 2016 for AYCL CMD. Currently Bali serves as Director (Tech) Scooters India Limited (SIL). This is the second time PMO declined PESB recommendation for Rahul Bali. Earlier also PMO had rejected Bali's name for CMD, Scooters India Limited. Indianmandarins has learnt that this is the very reason PMO did not agree on his name for CMD, AYCL. The AYCL CMD post has been lying vacant since 31 March 2013 when Kallol Dutta attained the superannuation age.
