The re-appointment of outgoing Director General of National Investigation Agency, Sharad Kumar, Rtd (IPS:1979:HR) has been again approved for a period of one year beginning 01 November 2016. He will serve as DG, NIA for a period till October 31, 2017. He was scheduled to complete his one year tenure (re-appointment on contract basis) on October 31, 2016.
