Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Appointments Committee of Cabinet has cleared the appointment of Gopal Mukherjee (IRS IT:1980) and Ms. Nishi Singh (IRS IT:1979) as Member CBDT. The order may be issued anytime this week.
The appointment orders are expected against two vacant posts vice Ms. Surabhi Sinha (Member, P&V) and S K Roy (Member, Revenue) who retired on April 30.
Gopal Mukherjee is currently serving as Principal DG (IT) Vigilance (CVO of CBDT) whereas Ms. Singh is serving as Principal CCIT, Delhi Region.
