S K Gorai has been selected for the post of Director (Finance), Kudremukh Iron Ore Co. Limited in a selection interview held today. Only three candidates turned up for interview board (PESB) and they are: V Muralidharan (GM, BHEL), S K Gorai (GGM, TCIL) and E S Rao (CIL GM, IIFCL) . The post was advertised on December 16, 2015. Subject to requisite clearance and ACC approval Gorai will replace Laxminarayana, the outgoing Director (Finance) in KIOCL, who is scheduled to retire on May 31, 2016. Laxminarayana took over as Director (Finance) on September 01, 2011
