Former Secretary, Performance Management (Cabinet Secretariat) G.Gurucharan (IAS:1982:KN) has joined as CEO of Public Affairs Centre, a private think tank based in Bangalore, set up by former Director of IIM Ahmedabad, Late Mr Samuel Paul. Gurucharan retired from Government of India as Secretary on 31 December 2016.
It is not clear whether he has secured exemption from the mandatory one year cooling off to join a private body or not.
