New Delhi (28.03.2024): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Thursday are as follows:

• T K Ramachandran (IAS: 1991: TN), Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, was entrusted with additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism from 30.03.2024 to 07.04.2024 during the period of absence on leave of V Vidyavathi (IAS: 1991: KN).
• Tenure of Sandhya Bhullar (IAS: 2003: GJ), Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade was extended for a period up to 23.02.2025.

• Sita Ram Meena (YOA: 2008), presently Director in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Niger.
• Usha Venugopal (IRAS: 1987) was appointed as Additional Member (Finance), Railway Board. 
  
• Aparna Garg (IRAS: 1987) was appointed as Director General, Indian Railways Institute of Financial Management (IRIFM), Secunderabad.
• Dr N K Srivastava (IRAS: 1988) was appointed as Additional Member (Revenue), Railway Board.

• Chinmay Pundlikrao Gotmare (IAS: 2009: AM) was appointed to the post of Director in Department of Expenditure for a tenure up to 12.04.2028.
