PESB has selected Akhil Joshi (ED,BHEL) for the post of Director (Power), BHEL in a selection interveiw held today. As many as 12 candidates appeared in the interview which includes 10 internal candidates and 06 external candidates as well.
The post is vacant since January 01, 2016 after Atul Sobti, who had taken over as CMD of Dec 31, 2015 along with the additional charge of Director (Power) BHEL.
Candidates who appeared in the selection interveiw are namely: Akhil Joshi (ED, PL&J), M K Sharma (ED, PESD, Hyderabad), K Purswani (ED, Corporate Office), V K Chohan (ED, Transmission Business Group). In addition five GMs from BHEL too may try their luck today namely; J Govindaswamy, K Kalaiselvan, D K Thakur, D K Dikshit and G K Hedaoo, Naveen Kumar (ED, PFC), Susanta Kumar Roy (ED, NTPC), Tejveer Singh (ED, SAIL), Ram Kishan Chaudhary (Chief Electrical Engineer, MoR), Rajesh Kumar Mehta (GGM, RITES, MoR).
