Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the government has cleared a proposal to extend the tenure of Rajiv Bansal (IAS:1988:NL) as Air India CMD (additional charge) for another three months beginning 23 November.
Bansal was given the additional charge of Air India for a period of three months beginning 23 August following the appointment of Ashwani Lohani as the Chairman of Railway Board.
Currently, Rajiv Bansal holds the post of Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
