Over two months have passed after Arun Kumar Sharma (IPS:1987:GJ) was appointed as Joint Director, CBI but still he has been kept on wait for posting in CBI. All it has prompted the gossip whether everything is fine inside. Power corridors are abuzz that perhaps over-dependence on a particular officer has prompted this unusual delay in posting. A K Sharma was appointed as Joint Director, CBI on April 22, 2015. Prior to this he headed Ahmedabad Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) as special commissioner; a post which was created for the first time. Is being heard that he may get the posting shortly but those who know the affairs well know the affairs well why such unusual delay.
