O P Chaudhary, a Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer of 2005 batch, has resigned from
service with an objective to embrace more active public life. While resigning
he served as District Collector of Raipur.
Several newspapers had
reported early this month that he might contest upcoming Assembly Elections
from Kharsia seat which falls in his home district Raigarh. Reportedly, he is
expected may announce that he would join BJP.
