A 1988 batch PCS officer of 1988 batch was elevated in the rank of IAS in 2008. Prior to his present assignment V K Yadav served as Deputy CEO of Noida Authority early in 2012 and was further anointed as Additional CEO.
A K Yadav got the berth with GDA after the incumbent VC, GDA (S K Yadav; IAS:95) made it as Secretary to UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav this week.
