There has been a murmuring in power corridors whether Sanjay Chadha (IRSME:1985) would move as DRM Mumbai or he would continue with his substantial assignment as Joint Secretary, Commerce (Govt of India). Prior to his appointment as JS, Commerce he also served as Secretary, Bibekdebroy Committee on Railway restructuring. In the first week of July this year he got empanelled as DRM was further posted as DRM, Mumbai. If some credible sources are to be believed Sanjay Chadha prefers to continue with his current assignment as Joint Secretary, Commerce where he is handling Foreign Trade (North East Asia), Infrastructure, ASIDE, State Cell, NE Cell, Main-streaming States in Trade.
