Ranjanesh Sahai (IRAS:1986) is all set to take over as new Secretary, Railway Board. He replaces R K. Verma (IRSE:1980) who superannuates tomorrow.
Currently, Sahai serves as FA&CAO (C) in Northern Railway. He brings with him a vast and varied experience in Central Railway, Railway Electrification Project and Ministry of Home Affairs.
He has been instrumental in bringing out many innovations in making the process of Contract Management transparent and in Staff Welfare measures related to staff payments, disbursement of pension, rail-user facilitation, etc.
