Pankaj Saran named as India's next Ambassador to Russia

Known for his critically important role in securing Indo-Bangladesh land boundary agreement, Pankaj Saran (IFS:1982) will replace P S Raghavan (IFS:1979) as Ambassador of India in Moscow on January 01. Saran is presently serving as India's High Commissioner to Dhaka.
Raghavan is scheduled for superannuation on December 31.
