The Centre gave its concurrence on Jharkhand Government’s proposal
on extension of service-tenure of Sudhir Tripathy (IAS:1985:JH); the outgoing
Chief Secretary. Tripathy was scheduled to retire this month. Having secured three-month
extension in service he will continue as CS till 31 December 2018.
