The ACC has cleared the appointment of three new members in Income Tax Settlement Commission. Accordingly; Ms Gunjan Mishra and Bhagwan Das Gupta have been appointed as Member in Additional Bench-II (New Delhi) whereas Abrar Ahmed has been appointed as Member, Additional Bench-I (New Delhi).
Ms Gunjan Gupta superannuated as Principal Director Generak (Apex Scale) on September 30 this year whereas Abrar Ahmed (Prl CCIT, MP & Chhattisgarh) was learnt to have been under consideration for the post of Member, CBDT.
