As Indianmandarins has reported earlier a four-member Selection Committee under the was constituted last week for interaction with shortlisted candidates for the post of Director General, Standing Conference on Public Enterprise (SCOPE). The Committee is expected to hold interaction shortly. In addition to former PESB Chairman Atul Chaturvedi (Retd IAS:1974:UP) the committee comprises of three members namely; Padma Bhushan Moosa Raza (former Chairman SCOPE & former Secretary GoI), Ms Stuti Narain Kacker (Retd IAS:1978:UP) and Arvind Pande (former Chairman SAIL). The DG post was advertised on 28 August though the date of vacancy was not disclosed which had triggered controversy over the internal affairs of SCOPE management.
The selected candidate would replace Dr U D Choubey completing his tenure in June next year.
