Dr Ms Vijay Laxmi tipped for elevation as Allahabad HC Judge?

The grapevine has it that Dr Ms Vijay Laxmi, Muzaffar Nagar District & Sessions Judge, may shortly be elevated as Aallahabad High Court Judge. Ms Laxmi, a native of Ghaziabad, was appointed with Judicial Service in October 1981. She has been serving as District & Sessions Judge, Muzaffar Nagar since February 17, 2014.
After the appointment of seven Additional Judges with Allahabad HC recently it is the turn for over a dozen Judges to be added to the strength. At present 76 posts (17 permanent judges and 59 additional judges) are vacant as against the approved strength of 160 judges in the Allahabad High Court.
