New Delhi (15.01.2024): In a very embarrassing situation but timely intervention of Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora (IPS: 1988: TN), some salvage was done but the purported gratification for promotion of Delhi police inspectors to SHO rank was endorsed by the ruckus caused at Pandara Road by some 12 odd inspectors. It’s been perpetually murmuring that moolah works for promotions in Delhi police but in the context of latest incident the power corridors have been abuzz that Delhi CP swung into action and immediately removed the Special Commissioner from the Selection panel just three days before his retirement i.e. on 29.12.2023. 

For a section of observers, the key takeaway from the incident is seen as a reason for MHA that picked as Tamil Nadu Cadre officer for a seat of power in Delhi while another section of observers terms it over simplification of the affairs.
