New Delhi (24.04.2025): The Centre has accelerated the
process of finalising terms of reference of the 8th Pay Commission. Terms of
Reference will be notified within three weeks and names of Chairman and members
of the panel will be named simultaneously. The 8th Pay Commission may be given one year to prepare its
report after extensive consultations with the stakeholders including the Central
Government, Public Sector Enterprises and State Governments.
