New Delhi (05.03.2024): In a complete contrast to the policy of his predecessor former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who was often too harsh on PM Narendra Modi and his party BJP, the incumbent CM Revanth Reddy sought PM’s blessings for the development of his state on Gujarat model, he acted as a pragmatic leader who wanted welfare of people but he deviated from political lines of the Congress. Reddy, a former ABVP activist, knows it well that he has two options to choose from; first is confrontationists like WB, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka adopt; second is cordial relation that Odisha and Andhra Pradesh have with the Centre. Revanth opted for the second one as he was clear from the word go when he invited criticism for falling out of sync with his top leader RaGa for welcoming Adani Group immediately after his victory.
