New Delhi (24.01.2024): Amid preparations for a Secretary-level reshuffle a section top sources believes that Chief Secretary of a state is being considered for the post of Secretary, Border Management under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Currently, Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla (IAS: 1984: AM) is holding the additional charge of the post. The said post fell vacant in the third week of November with the abrupt repatriation of Atal Dulloo (lAS: 1989: UT) to the Cadre state on the request of Union Home Ministry with a view to appoint him as Chief Secretary, J&K.
