It is learnt that Seemanchal Dash (IRS IT:1988), PS to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, has been repatriated to his parent cadre (CBDT) but reportedly he will continue to serve Jaitley in the capacity of PS informally, though not officially. Those in the know of affairs say the repatriation order makes provision so that Dash could continue to look after the work assigned by FM.
Sources said the similar arrangement works in the context of Navneet Soni (IRS IT:1988), former OSD to Union Culture Minister, Dr Mahesh Sharma. Though Soni still serves under the Ministry of CUlture and holds the post of Member-Secretary of National Monuments Authority but looks after the work assigned by the Union Culture Minister.
