Secretary of Maharashtra. The out going Chief Secretary Urvinder Pal Singh
Madan (IAS:1983:MH) has applied for VRS five months ahead of his retirement.
Reportedly, Madan will be the Chairman of SICOM and would be also an Advisor to
Chief Minister. Meanwhile, Additional Chief Secretary Praveen Pardeshi
(IAS:1985:MH) will be appointed as the new BMC Commissioner. Pardeshi
previously served as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister.
